Under the aegis of HNF, Jamia Hamdard is actively involved, for about two decades, in offering higher education, professional trainings and conducting research in Health Sciences. Having recognized the overall performance of the University, National Assessment and Accreditation Council placed it in ‘A’ category.

Majeedia Hospital of the University is currently offering multi specialty treatments in modern and traditional medicines. This hospital has well-experienced consultants in Medicine, Surgery, Gynecology, Pediatrics, Orthopedics, Ophthalmology, ENT, Dermatology and Dental Surgery. Treatments in super specialty areas like Cardiology, Nephrology and Plastic Surgery along with Dialysis, Urology and Neurosurgery are also available. The diagnostic facilities like Microbiology, Pathology, Biochemistry, Radiology and Ultrasonology are running with latest equipment. Well-equipped Center of Rehabilitation Medicine is functioning to provide Physiotherapy Treatment to the patients. Four Operation Theaters with modem Intensive Care Unit prompt service to the public with 24 Hours Emergency Facility. |

With this background, the University is poised to start Hamdard Medical College and University Hospital for an annual intake of 100 students. Majeedia Hospital is presently getting augmented to 350-bed capacity to meet the Medical Council Norms. Modern laboratories of Basis Sciences are established by now. |

Jamia Hamdard has already entered into MoU with Max Healthcare Institute, New Delhi and St Stephen Hospital, Delhi, for mutual sharing of expertise and other resources to provide advanced training to the University students in their Super Specialty Hospitals. |
