The Fondation-stone of the Institute of History of Medicine and Medical Research, now Faculty of Science, was laid in 1962 by Indian's first Prime Minister, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, and it was inaugurated by his daughter, Prime Minister Mrs. Indra Gandhi in 1970. |
